We loved Sandals South Coast, this was our 6th Sandals and we thought it was the best one.
We booked 3 rooms in order to bring our two adult children and their spouses, so there were six of us total. Sandals South Coast exceeded our expectations! It was immaculately clean, the grounds were beautifully landscaped, constantly groomed and softly lit. Gorgeous beach with plenty of huts for shade lovers and lounge chairs for sun lovers. There was so much beach area that it never seemed crowded. Four of us learned to Scuba dive and a shout out to our AWESOME INSTRUCTOR, EVERETT! We would also like to give a shout out to TYOMAR (spelling?) who was EXCEPTIONAL in his service to us at several restaurants - especially our favorite one, Neptunes. The rooms were lovely with beautiful views and there was a ton to do on property. We didn't even feel the need to take any optional tours. The bartenders at Latitudes were great fun when we were there after dinner - they really had the crowd going and it was a festive atmosphere. Every single Sandals person that we met - even just in passing on the grounds - greeted us and asked us how we were doing. If I had to express a less than positive comment, it would be that we were approached by spa people several times every day both on the beach and the grounds. We loved all of the cats and birds around the resort, and appreciate how the cats are considered "staff" and taken care of. Never saw any bugs or mosquitoes - which can be common in tropical locales. All in all, It was the perfect vacation and made us Sandals believers. We will be back!
When searching for a destination for our wedding several of our friends suggested the Sandals Resort chains. After much research and careful selection we decided to let Sandals South Coast take care of our wedding. With 31 of our closest family and friends (most of whom have never traveled out of the states) we headed down to Jamaica this past February. From the moment we set foot on the resort we knew this was the right decision for us! The staff was incredibly friendly, the food was amazing, the drinks perfect, and the beach; oh the beach was breathtaking! Our wedding was the most magical day we have ever experienced! Rocio, our wedding guru, and her dream team (Fiona, and I wish I could remember the other ladies names) were incredible! They were so fun and caring and they made our day the most relaxing wedding experience ever! While us ladies wedding prepped, Deshe kept the guys entertained with pool volleyball. They loved being able to have a laid back day with a great entertainer! Aside from the wedding we enjoyed spending our time at the Main Pool with our fun, full of energy, playmaker Doblin, and our most favorite bartender Shemica! Shemica was a very experienced bartender and such a kind young woman! Our favorite late night hangout was with the hilarious bartending duo Renaldo and Reshone at Latitudes! Those two were an absolute hoot! All of the staff was more than generous and they always remembered our names! We had the best time of our lives with the greatest people! We will for sure be back, Sandals South Coast, we promise!
South Coast was Fabulous! Our Penthouse room in Dutch Village was wonderful. Staff works so hard and is always friendly. Shout out to Fitzroy at Latitudes. He is so fun to be around. Anthony Drummond, Willis, Kesrick, and Roxine at Main pool bar made each day even better. Diyl and Chef Marco's attention to detail and long hours really are appreciated! Staff in Club Sandals Lounge took care of us like royalty. Chloe mad a call to SRC(after a split stay) to inquire about a ring I left in the safe, and it was delivered to me the next day! Our room bar was always restocked as we requested, and the lounge always had water and cold drinks. This was our third trip to South Coast and we cannot wait to go HOME again! Manager Matthew, a thanks to you and all of your hard work. Your staff is truly the best!!!!
We visited Sandals Whitehouse to celebrate our 25th Anniversary this past August, and the vacation was everything I'd hoped it would be and more (and we didn't even have butler service!). Our 4th floor corner room overlooking the French pool was not overly fancy, but it was very comfortable and spacious. The resort had some construction projects going on since it was the low season, but we weren't really bothered by them at all. We spent a lot of time relaxing at the Main Pool where with Lorenzo's help we created what became a new fave cocktail "Ja-Melon Me Crazy", but we made time to enjoy a couple morning snorkeling trips, paddle a tandem kayak and go tubing, take the YS Falls & Zipline tour (awesome experience!), get a couples massage at Red Lane Spa, and get a pastry -or two!- from the Cafe de Paris every afternoon as well. We enjoyed interacting with the resort staff throughout the property, but especially enjoyed getting to know Playmakers Angelita and Karalee. This was our first trip to Jamaica, and we definitely will be back!
June of 2014 was our first Sandals experience and we are more than thrilled to return a year later to explore Regency La Toc. The experience was more than exceptional. We stayed in the French villa and the staff was amazing. If we moved down to the ocean, staff would come out to grab our drink order. The view was perfect, we had both the pool and ocean view. Forever friendships and memories were made. We suggest the Pelican Bar tour, the catamaran was an experience I will never forget. Simply perfect and we are excited to visit annually!
